Devlog 3


My goals this week are to build out the game world more and add some of the assets I've modeled. I aim to flesh out an finalize the environment more and experiment with how the player interacts with it.

Since my last update, I've added a sky box and lighting to give the environment a more underwater feel with fog and blue lighting. I've included a bubble particle generator to aid in the underwater effect.

I've also been working on my main character for the game. After retopologizing and adding some basic color to the main character model, I experimented with animating with blend shapes. My goal was to have a simplistic, looping animation that simplifies seal swimming movements. The movement is subtle as not to distract the player from the main goal, collecting fish.
